iPhone users now with the help of Google Assistant.  Can locate your lost smartphone.  For this, first of all, you open the Google Home app and allow it to search your device via network or Bluetooth.  To complete the Google Home setup process, you will need to sign in with your Google account and allow access to the location.  Now you go to the Settings option of the Home app and click on the notification.  Click on the option to 'turn notifications on' and then select 'Allow'.  Choose the option of Common Notifications and make sure that you can receive 'Important Alerts'.  Now to locate your phone, you can take help from Google Assistant on Google Smart Speaker or find the phone by saying "Hey Google, search my phone".  It will play a custom sound on your iPhone, whether it is set to silent or DND.
